From the streets of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn to the sets of film and television, Charlene has built a career rooted in authenticity, creativity, and storytelling through style. Her early love for streetwear—watching her older cousins express themselves through bold colors, oversized silhouettes, and fearless fashion—sparked a lifelong passion that has evolved into a powerful creative force across industries.
Charlene honed her craft at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she was introduced to the fast-paced world of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, working alongside top designers and fashion houses. It was there her love for textiles, fit, and construction flourished. Her transition into styling and personal shopping allowed her to refine her intuitive eye for detail, character, and transformation—skills that would seamlessly translate into her next chapter: film and television.
Charlene has made her mark in costume departments of major productions. Her deep understanding of fabric, form, and function enables her to elevate character-driven storytelling, using wardrobe not just as an accessory but as an extension of identity and emotion. Whether contemporary, period, or fantasy, Charlene’s work is immersive, nuanced, and always intentional.
With over 20 years of creative experience, Charlene brings unmatched energy, professionalism, and originality to every set she walks onto. She is currently growing into her role as an aspiring Costume Designer, with a vision to bring bold, character-rich narratives to life through wardrobe. Her journey is fueled by purpose—and she’s just getting started.
